Living Through the Covid-19 Outbreak
We’d like to share with you what we’re doing to help our community stay healthy during the Covid-19 outbreak that has created news headlines. This includes updates on our schedule, potential closure plans, and our online classes going live soon.
Firstly, as of now we are open for our community and aim to operate our studios under a modified schedule which you can find here.
Our plan is to follow government mandates regarding any closure. This situation is moving daily, so please ensure that you book your classes online as you will receive an email if your booked class is cancelled.

We have heard over the past week how much so many of you depend on your yoga practice. While there is nothing quite comparable to getting your sweat on in the hot room, the current pandemic represents a wonderful opportunity to experience practice at home. Stay tuned as the exact format will be announced shortly in an upcoming newsletter.
Limited class sizes, no yoga props for the time being
In order to facilitate social distancing, we’ve cut class sizes in both studios to approximately 50% of their capacity so that everyone’s mats can be a wider distance apart to help our members practice free of anxiety. That said, our classes have been small, at anywhere from 5-15 attendees in rooms designed for 75-100, so there is ample space to distance yourself.
We’ve removed our yoga props (blocks, straps, pillows) from the yoga rooms. Teachers will modify their sequences so students can generally practice without props, though you’re also welcome to bring your own.
Towels are always required to cover your mat. You may bring your own, or rent ours for £1.50.
Our rental yoga mats are washed with antibacterial solution after every use, though you’re always welcome to bring your own.
Teachers have been asked to refrain from hands on adjustments.
We maintain exceptional cleaning standards
We are taking every action possible to keep our space cleaner and safer to cleanliness standards that exceed most homes.
As noted in our blog, our studios are professionally cleaned daily. Furthermore, several times throughout the day, we have been wiping down all hand-contact surfaces (doorknobs, push plates, shower mixers, taps, benches, locker panels etc.) with antibacterial cleaning products to help eliminate any germs.
Best practices to help avoid the spread of Covid-19
As per government guidance, for the vast majority of people, Covid-19 will bring mild symptoms. However, the elderly and people with compromised immune systems are at higher risk, hence the NHS needs to limit the spread. Please continue to follow NHS guidance.
Don’t attend class if you feel any flu-like symptoms. If you have a high temperature or persistent cough, as per NHS guidance stay home for at least 7 days.
Wash your hands when coming indoors. Use soap and hot water and wash for at least 20 seconds. If you don’t have access to a washroom, use sanitising hand gel in the interim (we also have it at our reception desks).
If you sneeze or cough, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue (or your sleeve) and wash your hands afterwards.
Be kind to your fellow yogis, and avoid jumping to immediate conclusions just because they happen to sneeze or cough. Fear is often worse than reality.
Finally, keep your immune system healthy by eating nutritious foods, staying well-hydrated, and getting your hot yoga practice in (exercise is proven to boost the immune system).

How do I freeze my subscription?
If as a subscription member you need to freeze your membership, currently, during the time that our studios are open, our standard freeze terms will apply, allowing clients to freeze subscriptions once every 12 months, from 1 to 3 consecutive months (normal fee applies). Please see 8.7 of our T&C’s.
If we need to close our studios for a period of time, freezes during the relevant period will be offered at no charge on all memberships (including all non-subscription packages from the Intro Offer on up).
We appreciate that this is a difficult time for many, however rest assured it will definitely pass, and in the meantime, we hope you will join us for our online classes once they go live.
