In the right hands, music and yoga are a powerful, beautiful match! BYL offers several classes with music soundtracks, including Hot Vinayasa Flow, Hot Power Flow, Warm Jivamukti, and BYL Music Beats Express. On a Thursday evening in May, we decided to play a soundtrack in the 6PM Bikram yoga class, and wow, what a hit it turned out to be! Led by London’s premier Bikram instructors, Bikram Music Beats, performed to a funky, hot groove is an absolute hit! Come join the party!
The class is designed for ALL levels, Beginners to Advanced. During the 90-minute session work out every muscle, tendon, joint, ligament, organ and gland while systematically moving oxygenated blood to every cell of the body.

The postures are practiced in the safe environment of a heated room, increasing muscle relaxation and blood circulation and minimizing risk of injury. Strengthen your cardiovascular system and flush toxins from the body.
The type and sequence of the stretching and compression postures ensure that the health effects are optimised, massaging all internal organs, flushing out the cardiovascular system, and stimulating the endocrine and nervous systems, thereby releasing any deficient hormones and enzymes.
The result is improvement of health to all systems, reduction of stress, strengthening of the immune system and healing of injuries. Regularly practising Bikram Yoga can reduce many symptoms of chronic ailments and diseases, including back and joint problems, diabetes, asthma, arthritis, sleep disorders, digestive problems, tendonitis, skin conditions, and others.

What is the temperature? Will it be manageable for me?
As with any activity, for most people the first class can be challenging (typically due to the heat). It typically gets easier quickly from there and very likely you’ll soon be craving the heat, particularly as your body starts to change.
We have students ranging in age from 17 to 80, so no matter what your age or level of fitness, Bikram yoga is a great way to begin.
