After vocational training and working professionally as a dancer and then going on to qualify as a personal trainer Fiona always wanted to find a fitness substitute that would give her the same strength, muscle tone and fitness similar to her previous ballet training.
She went to her first Bikram class over 10 years ago and soon realised it had all the elements she had been looking for. Right from the start, Fiona had wanted to become a Bikram teacher, and with the support from her home studio at Bikram Yoga Essex, she flew out to Thailand to attend the fall teacher training 2014. She still loves the discipline and the challenge every class gives her and of course, the long term benefits of a longer and healthier life.
Fiona now enjoys sharing her passion for Bikram yoga through teaching. In 2017 she completed the Inferno Hot Pilates Level 1. teacher training, the first to be held in the Uk and was integral in the start-up of the now hugely popular Inferno Hot Pilates classes. She then went on to complete the level 2 Teacher Training in 2019, taking classes to the next level combing weights and resistance bands into the workout.
Fiona loves the diversity of teaching the different styles of classes and seeing how much the students constantly progress.
