In 2001 Naomi trained with Bikram and Rajashree Choudhury. She taught throughout the US, Jamaica, Ibiza and in London, before opening her studio in Brighton – the first Hot Yoga studio outside London – which she ran for 5 years.
She believes strongly that a teacher’s responsibility lies in continual study and that Satya (truthfulness) is as much a priority in yoga as in life.
Her practice is informed by many teachers including Sri K Pattabhi Jois and Rusty Wells, as well as Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, Robin Munroe, Richard Miller and Yogi Master Kumar. Thanks to them, she was inspired to explore diverse ways of practising, which led to her studying Yoga Therapy with the Yoga Biomedical Trust, and Vipassana, and she expanded her practice leading retreats overseas.
A regular judge at the UK Yoga Asana Championships, Naomi remains as in love with the pure Bikram method now as when she first stepped on to a mat 15 years ago.
When not in the studio, she’s being inspired by her nine-year-old son, eating Raw Food and getting high on Life. Her classes are suitable for all levels and are dynamic, uplifting, funny and informative, leaving you cleansed and connected.
